When it comes to face wash, I have a heavy hand. I like to see lots of bubbles so I know it’s working, but also, they often leave my skin feel very dry. So in an effort to make it feel more ‘moisturising’ I overuse them, squeeze out just a little bit more and more. I don’t know how long a jar of face wash is supposed to last, but I’m lucky if one makes it through a month. Even though we recycle, that still means going through a dozen of jars and tubes a year just for face wash.
I never really thought about all those empty plastic tubes until I used my first jar of Earth Harbor. I got to know Earth Habor when researching for products to expand our product range at Revel, back in 2020. The face wash’s serene pink and deep-inhale inducing natural scents make face washing feel like a spa visit. Plus, I wasn’t upset at discovering that the rest of their concoctions are just as amazing.
The cream cleanser is made from seaweed, hibiscus and green tea extracts. Along with coconut, turmeric, jasmine and aloe leaf juice, it is incredible non-drying and truly cleanses with stripping. After using it for over a year, I can say that washing my face with it is decidedly now a therapeutic activity I look forward to at the end of each day. It feels good knowing that it’s gentle on both the environment and my skin. The scent doesn’t hurt either.
