Poem: I Now No Longer Do Pretend

In verse I find my mind does seep,

All the secrets that I do keep.

The page does turn a mirrored space,

And ink reflects my shadowed face.

Such thoughts that yielding has suppressed,

Now with a voice, can be expressed.

A door does open to another world,

Where I find my inner self unfurled.

And of this mist that did once descend,

I now no longer do pretend.
